History of Pilares

Our journey

We were founded in 2008 through the commitment of volunteers in Villa 21-24. Over time, we became more professional to support the holistic development of early childhood and strengthen families.

First visit to Villa 21-24

2010

Professional team, new programs and legal entity status like Caacupé ONG

2011

We start Haciendo LUPA

2012

We opened a center in San Blas in Villa 21-24 (today COPIF)

2014

We are now called "Fundación Pilares"

2016

We inaugurated CPI Pilarcitos in partnership with GCBA

2020

Distribution of food and hygiene supplies during the pandemic

We launched Espacio Trama

We launched Acunar
